Q: What is Mutant: Year Zero NEXUS?
A: Mutant: Year Zero NEXUS is an official digital toolset for the Free League roleplaying game Mutant: Year Zero. There you can read the digital rulebooks in our Digital Reader, as well as a companion digital toolset that includes a Game Compendium that contains all of the Roles, Artifacts, Threats, and more to make playing and running the game easier than ever.
Q: Is Mutant: Year Zero NEXUS affiliated with Free League?
A: Yes! We have officially partnered with Free League to provide digital tools for playing their Mutant: Year Zero roleplaying game.
Q: What is Demiplane?
A: Demiplane is the place for digital tools, content, and services to discover, prepare, and play all your favorite tabletop roleplaying games. Demiplane empowers tabletop roleplaying game fans to make every game better by providing high-quality digital tools that support in-person and virtual play. On Demiplane, TTRPG enthusiasts access tools to discover new games, new players, form groups and enhance the ways games can be played, shared, and explored.
Q: What is a tabletop roleplaying game?
A: A tabletop roleplaying game is an interactive storytelling game and experience for a group of players, one of whom takes on the role of Gamemaster. The Gamemaster directs the gameplay, and each other player assumes the role of a character within the fictional setting described by the game and the Gamemaster. The Gamemaster describes the setting and the scenario and the players describe the actions that their characters take in response. Through this process, players navigate a multi-faceted, dynamic story.
Q: What is a digital toolset?
A: A digital toolset is a term we use to describe the comprehensive set of features that you’ll have access to through Mutant: Year Zero NEXUS. Our digital toolset includes the core rulebook and starter set for the game. Released material is available in a Digital Reader and a fully-searchable Game Compendium. Easily search for rules, use tool-tips, and learn the game on a variety of devices.
Q: What is a digital sourcebook?
A: A digital sourcebook is a digital version of Mutant: Year Zero that is also fully searchable online and comes with a digital toolkit! You can discover all of the available content, including the free Year Zero Engine SRD, here.
Q: Can I access the Mutant: Year Zero NEXUS on mobile or tablet?
A: Yes! The Mutant: Year Zero NEXUS is available to use on desktop, laptop, tablet, and mobile browser screens.
Q: How do I access the digital sourcebooks I've purchased?
A: You can access digital sourcebooks directly through the Mutant: Year Zero NEXUS and click Library.
Q: When will (previously released official book) become available on Mutant: Year Zero NEXUS?
A: Demiplane does not provide release dates, but we will make announcements across these forums, as well as our Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Discord when a new title is available to pre-order or purchase.
Q: Will Demiplane offer PDF versions of Mutant: Year Zero?
A: While we do not on the NEXUS, DriveThruRPG has all the Mutant: Year Zero PDFs on the Free League Storefront!
Q: Does the Mutant: Year Zero NEXUS accept international payments?
A: Yes, we do!
Q: Help! I purchased a digital book, but I can't access it. What do I do?
A: We’re sorry to hear that you cannot access your new book! Please reach out to our Support Team and we will get that resolved for you as quickly as we can.
Q: If I delete my Mutant: Year Zero NEXUS account, will I still have access to my digital sourcebooks?
A: Unfortunately if you delete your account you will no longer have access to any of the sources that were purchased with your account.
Q: Can I get a refund?
A: Digital items are not returnable or refundable. See our Terms of Sale for the full details on making purchases on Demiplane.
Q: If I purchase several books at once, is there a discount?
A: There is not currently a bundle offering for Mutant: Year Zero NEXUS. This may become available in the future to go along with additional book releases for this roleplaying game!
Q: If I already own physical copies of Mutant: Year Zero, can I get a discount or redeem a copy for free?
A: At this time there is no option to access a digital copy of your previously purchased Mutant: Year Zero books.
Q: Once I've purchased content on Mutant: Year Zero NEXUS, can I share it with my playgroup?
A: Here at Demiplane, we call the ability to share your books with those you game with ‘content sharing’. Content sharing is available as long as one person at the table unlocks a Demiplane Subscription. That one person can share with up to 24 different people and that extends across all NEXUS Platforms. Additionally, you will unlock unlimited characters across all NEXUS Platforms, too.
Note: If you have a Roll20 Pro or Plus Account, you have the Demiplane Subscription already built in!

Q: Do I have to pay to use Demiplane?
A: Demiplane offers a variety of features that enhance your gameplay that are free to use. Mutant: Year Zero NEXUS includes the Year Zero Engine SRD for free. Other content is integrated after being unlocked by purchasing it on the Mutant: Year Zero NEXUS.
Q: How / Where do I create a Mutant: Year Zero NEXUS account? Is it separate from my Demiplane account?
A: On Demiplane, you have one account to rule them all! Create a free account to access both Mutant: Year Zero NEXUS and Demiplane here.
Q: How can I keep up to date on Mutant: Year Zero NEXUS news and releases?
A: Excellent question!
