To start an episode in your Portal, the Game Master or Portal Leader can press ‘Launch Adventure” in the top right corner of the Portal.
Launching an Adventure sends a notification to all Party members that the episode is ready to begin. Once the Game Master and at least one player joins the episode, the Adventure will begin in Demiplane’s system.

Benefits to Launching Your Adventures
Launching an Adventure in Demiplane enables a number of tailored features to keep your Adventure running smoothly. Examples include:
- Send alerts to the Adventuring Party that it is time to rally to Adventure and save the universe (or have another shopping episode - what good is gold if you can’t spend it?).
- Allow Portal Members to anonymously indicate when things are getting uncomfortable or outside previously discussed boundaries.
- Auto-magically create and allow cataloging of notes and critical events that take place during your Adventures in shareable Journals.
- Ensure that all users have the opportunity to provide the Game Master anonymous feedback and/or a tip, while also rating and awarding each other for great gameplay.
- For paid Adventures, launching and joining episodes ensures users are appropriately charged for attendance (or not).
