Hello and welcome to our list of Frequently Asked Questions for DC20 NEXUS, the Official Digital Companion for DC20. Here you’ll find answers to your questions about the DC20 NEXUS and how to get started!

Q: What is DC20 NEXUS?

A: DC20 NEXUS is an official digital toolset for Dungeon Coach's DC20.

• Dynamic Agency: Players get 4 Action Points in Combat to spend on a variety of actions both on and off their turn. Everyone has resources to spend in unique and custom ways, along with options to combo together with allies! This keeps them engaged and opens up the creativity of what is possible for both Player and GM.
• Custom Character Creation: Become the character you always wished you could be with iconic and unique abilities. Choose your own primary Attribute and customize your Ancestry to create a truly one of a kind character.

Q: What is Demiplane?

A: Demiplane is the place for digital tools, content, and services to discover, prepare, and play all your favorite tabletop roleplaying games. Demiplane empowers tabletop roleplaying game fans to make every game better by providing high-quality digital tools that support in-person and virtual play. On Demiplane, TTRPG enthusiasts access tools to discover new games, new players, form groups and enhance the ways games can be played, shared, and explored.

Q: What is a tabletop roleplaying game?

A: A tabletop roleplaying game is an interactive storytelling game and experience for a group of players, one of whom takes on the role of Game Master. The Game Master directs the gameplay, and each other player assumes the role of a character within the fictional setting described by the game and the Game Master. The Game Master describes the setting and the scenario and the players describe the actions that their characters take in response. Through this process, players navigate a multi-faceted, dynamic story.

Q: What is a digital toolset?

A: A digital toolset is a term we use to describe the comprehensive set of features that you’ll have access to through DC20 NEXUS. Released material is available in a Digital Reader and a fully-searchable Game Compendium.

Q: What is a digital sourcebook?

A: A digital sourcebook is a digital version of DC20 NEXUS that is also fully searchable online and comes with a digital toolkit! You can discover all of the available content on the DC20 NEXUS.

Q: Can I access the DC20 NEXUS on mobile or tablet?

A: Yes! The DC20 NEXUS is available to use on desktop, tablet, and mobile browser screens.
Q: How do I access the digital sourcebooks I've purchased?

A: You can access digital sourcebooks directly through the DC20 NEXUS.

Q: Will Demiplane offer PDF versions of DC20?

A: While we do not on the NEXUS, DriveThruRPG has all of Dungeon Coach's titles available on their storefront!

Q: Does DC20 NEXUS help with character creation?

A: Yes! Character tools are available right now. Head to DC20 NEXUS and choose the characters option from the navigation bar, or go directly to the Characters page on Demiplane to start your next character.

Q: Can I print my character sheet? 

A: Yes! Open your Character Sheet in the DC20 NEXUS and select the three lines to the right of your Character Name. From the pop out Character Menu, scroll down and click EXPORT TO PDF. 

Q: Can I make my own custom DC20 content?

A: Not yet. We are actively working on homebrew tools, which will allow for anyone to create their own content to use on their sheets.

Q: Can I create characters for other people?

A: Yes! Once you’ve created your character you can click or tap on the menu icon by their name to open the management sidebar. Scroll down to the bottom for sharing options–a QR code or link. Make sure to set the privacy to your desired setting before sending it! Once a user opens a shared character, they can either browse it as a viewer, or create a copy onto their own account.

Q: Does Demiplane accept international payments?

A: Yes, we do!

Q: Help! I purchased a digital book, but I can't access it. What do I do?

A: We’re sorry to hear that you cannot access your new book! Please reach out to our Support team and we will get that resolved for you as quickly as we can.

Q: If I delete my DC20 NEXUS account, will I still have access to my digital sourcebooks?

A: Unfortunately if you delete your account you will no longer have access to any of the sources that were purchased with your account.

Q: Can I get a refund?

A: Digital items are not returnable or refundable. See our Terms of Sale for the full details on making purchases on Demiplane.

Q: If I already own physical copies of DC20 NEXUS, can I get a discount or redeem a copy for free?

A: At this time there is no option to access a digital copy of your previously purchased DC20 titles. 

Q: Once I've purchased content on DC20 NEXUS, can I share it with my playgroup?

A: Here at Demiplane, we call the ability to share your books with those you game with ‘content sharing’. Content sharing is available as long as one person at the table unlocks a Demiplane Subscription. That one person can share with up to 24 different people and that extends across all NEXUS Platforms. Additionally, you will unlock unlimited characters across all NEXUS Platforms, too.

Note: If you have a Roll20 Pro or Plus Account, you have the Demiplane Subscription already built in!

Q: Do I have to pay to use Demiplane?

A: Demiplane offers a variety of features that enhance your gameplay that are free to use. DC20 NEXUS content can be integrated after purchase on the DC20 NEXUS.

Q: How / Where do I create a DC20 NEXUS account? Is it separate from my Demiplane account?

A: On Demiplane, you have one account to rule them all! Create a free account to access both DC20 NEXUS and Demiplane here.
